Zandile played various production roles during the period she was at University. These include Chorus in Trojan Women, Aida in On The Brink, Matilda in The Suit and Regan in King Lear.
Other roles she played in a puppeteer in the innovative presentation of Tall Horse directed by Marthinus Basson at The Baxter Theater Cape Town followed by Pretoria’s State Theatre and the Civic Theatre, Johannesburg, A Love Story at The Kalk Bay Theatre, Cape Town, the role of Thando Sibanda in Nguni and Madiba Magic at the Baxter Theatre.
In 2005, in the Film Unrequited Love directed by Steve Berry, she played the lead role and also featured in Beyond Berlin a film directed by Peter Samamm.The actress started her career as an actress during the time when she was at University. She has featured on productions including Trojan Women, Brink, The suit and King Lear.
In 2007, she started her professional career portraying a lead role as Akua Yenana, a stockbroker and a lady of leisure on SABC 1’s drama series society. In 2008, she played a role as a guest in a drama series Mtunzini.com Season 2 and 3 of SABC 1 as Dudu Langa a suspect of her mother’s death.
In 2009, she also played a main role as the bride, Ayanda on the White wedding film together with Kenneth Nkosi, the groom and the best man being Rapulana Seiphemo. On SABC 3 drama series Isidingo in 2010, she played a character as Thembakazi, the head of the news. She joined the cast of the Rhythm city, an e.tv soapie in 2011 as young accountant Rhodha Rababe.
She again in 2013, starred a main role again on Zabalaza, a Mzansi Magic drama series as Lindiwe Cele who happens to be the head of operations in business of the entire family being too ambitious and considering herself as as legally entitled to the empire.
In the drama series Isikizi in 2016, she featured as Nomazwe, a mother giving birth to a prince’s son who is declared by the King’s traditional healer(Sangoma) as a cursed baby who in future will kill his father inorder to marry his mother.
Zandile has starred in numerous TV films and series, Her other television casts include, Isidingo, Rhythm City, Soul City and Home Affairs. A Small Town Called Descent and The Algiers Murders are the films which which she played different characters.
She featured on Igazi Season 1, which is a Shona and Connie Ferguson production as Princess Nomakhwezi. Currently she starred a main role as Vuyiswa Jola on The Queen, the Ferguson Film.
In addition, the actress has other experiences which involves commercial appearances for Clearasil and Captain Morgan; corporate theatre projects for Metrorail and Kagiso TV. Her other commercial appearances for several brands includes, Cadbury, Nedbank, Woolworths and voice-over work for numerous clients. She presented on e. tv, Heita and also in the soapie Backstage she played a role as one of the students.
On the 1st of January 2019, her portrait appeared on the cover page of South Africa’s True Love magazine. In the magazine, she shared her personal story covering various topics making readers to understand her life. She is however cautious about her personal life.
