The actress live in Johannesburg but was born and grew up in North of Pretoria in the Township of Mabopane in Tswane, Gauteng Province.
She is a widow and was married to the late Chris Matshaba on 27 December 2014 in Ramokokastad. He was a businessman and a radio presenter. They were happily married for four years before her husband succumbed to a battle with cancer in 2018.
Tsholofelo has got a daughter whose father is not Chris Matshaba. The father of her child is her ex-boyfriend Dingaan Mokebe who happens to be a her fellow South African Actor who starred as James in the SABC 2 Muvhango and also a TV personality, singer and voice-over artists. Their relationship ended in 2010 with both parties making allegations and claims and the actress denying him access to their child.
The actress has tattoos on her body of the word Vincentia on her back which she often reveals and a lion’s head drawn on the centre of her back. She also has a tattoo of her date of birth on her left arm.

Tsholofelo obtained a National Diploma in Musical Theatre in Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) from the year 2002-2004.
Career
After graduating from college, she became a Theatre Performer as her career and start to participate in several theatre productions and television shows. These include, Robinson Crusoe, Aladin, Soweto Story, The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar, Melodies of Love and Born in the RSA 2. She has also appeared in several television shows in South Africa.
In 2010, she has a role of Tiny, a demanding niece of Mmane. In 2015, she featured as Molahlegi in season four on SABC 1 soap opera Skeem Saam.
She began starring as the lead character Keneilwe on SABC2 drama series Mamello in August 2015. Her role was that of a realistic teacher who transferred to a new school running away from an abusive marriage. At the new school she rebuilt her life, her new love relationship and the school as well.
In 2018 she played a role in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Throne as the queen’s dissatisfied younger sister, Princess Odirile. She joined the cast of The River Season 2 in 2019 playing the character Kedibone Mokoena well known as Rakgadi.
