South African DJ Black Coffee (real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo) is a multi–award–winning artist and entrepreneur who is arguably the most successful DJ in Africa. He has achieved international fame with his unique house music style and collaborations with some of the world’s biggest artists. He has released multiple albums and singles and won several awards, including a Grammy and a BET Award.

Early life
Black Coffee grew up in a musical family and was exposed to different genres of music from a young age. His father was a jazz guitarist, and his mother was a gospel singer. He was introduced to the piano at the age of six and began to learn the drums and guitar soon after. He was also part of a youth band and performed at various venues in his hometown.

Black Coffee was married to actress Enhle Mbali from 2011 to 2020. The couple had two children together.

Enhle Mbali is the mother of two beautiful sons– Anesu Maphumulo and Asante Maphumulo. Her oldest child Anesu was born in 2011, while her youngest- Asante, was born in 2015. However, Black Coffee has three other children from different relationships, including his 19-year-old son Esona and Lilitha (with Brangelina)
