Personal Life
Linda grew up in Durban together with her younger brother who is thirteen years younger than her. Her mother is Celiwe who has supported her together with her sibling for her to be a successful actress she is right now. She lost his father at the age of thirteen and wa raised by her loving mother together with her step-father who has been a loving father figure to her. So for her to be successful and all the achievements she has, she gives credit to her supportive family who has been always there for her.
Mtoba is married to Steve Meyer whom she dated for 6 years and the got married in the year 2017. They had a very beautiful and classy wedding accompanied with two ceremonies. Much is not known about her husband despite his featuring on the pictures that Linda posts on social media platforms of them being so intimate and spending time together.

Mtoba did not start out as an actress. The actress was once a teacher at a primary school before she became an actress. She worked as a qualified IsiZulu teacher who taught grade 1 upto 5 after graduating from school.
So the experience she got from teaching has boosted her interaction skills and confidence on her current occupation when she left teaching to pursue acting. She however talks of missing her teaching days and experiences she had during her days as a teacher.
Her first television series debut was when she played the role of Zama Nyandeni on a Mzansi Magic soapie called Isibaya from 2016 to 2018 after her friends forced her to audition for the show. Linda is said to be dramatic person. The judges were impressed by Linda on her first attempt and she was called by the producers to sign in for the show. She went on to play Nomonde the daughter of Commissioner Zweli on The River in 2018, a 1 Magic’s best selling popular telenovela. She looks forward to perform different roles in in the future on local productions.
