This happened in an episode called “the party (Part 1)”in the second season of the show. Andile studied Drama at the Soyikwa Institute of Africa Theatre, where he earned a Diploma in Drama. He also attended acting classes from 2007 to 2008, taught by Duma ka Ndlovu. Andile was a trainee director on Muvhango SABC2 in 2008, in addition to his training. He also studied Bachelor of Arts Specialising in Film and Media at the University of Cape town -2021.

Andile was featured in June 16 documentary in which he acted, sang, and danced. Mbatha’s reenactment work includes Memeza (Brenda Fassie documentary), in which he performed as a dancer, singer, and actor.
His television credits include Muvhango, Mthunzini.com, generations, soul city and most recently House of Zwide. On Muvhango he played a journalist named Mduduzi. Kgotso on Soul City, Sly on Tshisa Seasons 2 and 3, Sokhele on Generations and Mandla on Jozi Maboneng are some of his roles. His work includes portraying Bra Carter on House of Zwide , a recent etv series which started on 19 July 2021, as well as Khulu Sibanyoni on Naledi and Owen on Prodigal Son.
