Shaka Khoza’s real name is Sthembiso Khoza. He is a South African actor, MC and voice over artist born on 1 July 1986 and is currently 38 years old. He was born in Ntuzuma, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
His parents are Stan Khoza and Lindiwe Khoza and they are Zulu. His father is the former national president of Independent Municipal and Allied Trade Union. He is a brother to Abdul Khoza who is also a famous South African Actor popularly known for is role of Qaphela on Isibaya.
He is a father to his two daughters and a son, Ayanda Khoza and Lelo Khoza, whom he had with his first wife. His son’s name is Lelo Khoza whom he had with Lee-Anne Makopo. He divorced with his wife some years ago after some unsettled misunderstanding between the two of them. Sthembiso is in a relationship with the actress, Pabee Moganedi.
He is famous for the character he plays as Shaka in the Mzansi drama series, The Queen. Sthembiso was raised and did his primary education in Kwazulu Natal. He studied at Parkhill School for his High School.
Growing up, SK Khoza developed a keen interest in sports and participated in various sporting activities such as cricket, soccer, rugby and karate. He went on to study and graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a Degree in Sports Management.
From there he started his career as a log editor at Supersport. He was made a member of Channel O host of Mzansi Ridez, a car customisation and hip hop magazine show after the Channel was impressed by his expertise during the auditions.
After that, Sthembiso became a field presenter for Vuzu’s V-Entertainment magazine show. He was also a radio host at TransAfrica radio, a voice-over artist. He then joined the telenovela, iNkaba on Mzansi Magic.
He started acting in 2023 until present and since then he has played roles in several drama series such as Housekeepers, Kings of Jo’burg, V-Entertainment, Mzansi Ridez, Isibaya, The Kingdom- uKhakhayi, Mzansi Love, The Channel O Africa Music Video Awards, iNkaba, The Road, aYeYe, Bounce and the Queen.
