Kwaito musician, Lvovo Derrango, also known as Thokozani Sphamandla Ndlovu, has returned to his parents’ home following a stroke that left him unable to walk. The incident occurred on December 23, 2022, while he was performing at the Indwedwe Music Festival in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Although he was discharged from the hospital a few days later, he required additional care due to the effects of the stroke.

Lvovo, who is 42 years old, admitted that the experience has been tough and challenging. His leg and hand were both affected by the stroke, and he needed extra care, which meant moving back to his parents’ home. His friends have been supportive throughout the ordeal, driving him to appointments and hosting a braai at his home as a thanksgiving.

The stroke has had a significant impact on his mobility, preventing him from performing and earning money. However, music has kept him sane, and he is currently working on an EP set to be released this year. Lvovo expressed gratitude to his family, friends, and supporters for their help and care during this difficult time.
