On her social media, rapper Nadia Nakai recently shared the final WhatsApp conversation she had with her late boyfriend, AKA. The South African rapper, whose real name was Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was tragically shot and killed outside Wish Restaurant in Durban on February 10, 2022. His friend and former manager, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, also lost his life during the shooting incident.
Nadia took to her Instagram Story on March 13 to share the conversation, which occurred shortly before AKA’s death. She also posted a tribute to him the day after his funeral, expressing her heartbreak over his passing and her difficulty in imagining a future without him.
